Our company is a fast growing oil trading company established in
Singapore with a focus on trading Crude Oil and Oil Products. We have a
regional presence, with offices in Thailand, Indonesia and Australia.
Our crude oil trading activities include a wide array of crudes from Far
East region, Persian Gulf, as well as West Africa. Our Oil Products
includes Aromatics, Olefins, Naphtha, Mogas, Gas oil, Fuel oil, Base oil
and Asphalt. Due to our business expansion we are seeking dynamic and
driven individuals to join our team.
OPERATION EXECUTIVE

Responsibilities:
- Liaise with terminals, refineries and trading partners for cargo and shipping arrangements once trade has been completed
- Analyze the operational risk of each cargo operation and to actively manage the exposure to the company
- Maintain documentation of correspondence with counterparties
- Preparation and follow up of contracts/ document instructions/ nominations
- Ensure that all operational duties are completed to facilitate smooth cargo loading
- Support traders by compiling and analyzing market data
- Responsible for chartering requirements of company including the negotiation of freight and charter party terms and conditions
- Plan effective voyage route in order to maximize capacity of vessel and reduce dead freight
- Follow up with claims such as demurrage incurred during voyages
- Analyze and keep track of developments of freight/ vessel trends and advise trading team accordingly
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 - 3 years relevant experience in a fast paced physical trading environment
- Good command of both spoken and written English. Fluency in a 2nd regional language would be advantageous
- Knowledge of terminal operations in the region would be an advantage
- A good network of ship owners, shipbrokers and terminal operators in the region
- Proactive, meticulous, responsible and good working attitude
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
